Timeline & Tools
Duration: 6 months
Design Tools: Illustrator, After Effects, Photoshop
Platform: Content created for the client; in-house developers handled implementation
Deliverables: Fully detailed mockups, animated assets, and an interactive prototype for hands-on engagement
Role & Objective
As the UX / Interactive Designer & Animator, I was responsible for creating mockups for client approval and generating animation and UI assets for development. The project aimed to deliver a touch-screen experience that could convey dense medical content—especially critical FDA-mandated safety information—without sacrificing engagement or clarity.

Challenge & Solution Strategy
Problem: The interactive platform needed to present intricate clinical language and intricate safety disclaimers in an accessible way.
Solution: Designed a persistent side panel (Important Safety Information—or ISI) that remained visible, while engaging users with 3D animations to attract and maintain attention to the content area
Research & User Insight
Conducted interviews with healthcare professionals (HCPs) treating patients with conditions like chronic myeloid leukemia and Philadelphia chromosome–positive acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
Insight: Despite the severity of the diseases, it was important to clearly communicate viable treatment options—balancing hope with factual clarity. The UI and animation needed to reinforce that message effectively

Personas & Competitive Landscape
User Persona: A mid-career healthcare provider, regularly confronted with delivering grave diagnoses to patients with limited treatment options.
Competitive Insight: There were few viable alternatives in the market—this treatment held strong promise—but communication had to remain medically accurate and never suggest over-promised outcomes

Constraints & Creative Response
Regulatory Constraints: The design had to respect FDA compliance—no overstatements about treatment efficacy or omissions regarding side effects were allowed.
Technical Constraints: Some 3D assets from external vendors were delayed. To maintain schedule integrity, I recreated those elements myself—ensuring the experience was consistent and ready for the conference.

Why this project stood out
Balanced Complexity: Transitioned complex regulatory content into an accessible, visually engaging interactive experience.
Human-Centered Design: Used real-world HCP insights to guide tone, content delivery, and emotional resonance.
Adaptability Under Pressure: Pivoted quickly when external assets were delayed—maintaining design fidelity and delivery schedule.
Cross-Channel Readiness: Delivered not just for live interaction but positioned for future expansion across both digital and print media.
